This track is part of a duo improvisation project between me and drummer Matt Smalligan. Matt is a beautiful musician, and both a broad and deep listener. We've been improvising together for years, but this track marks the first public release of any of our music.
All sounds that you hear were recorded in one take, with no overdubs. All effects processing was improvised in the moment, as was the musical content.
Given the sonic content, Halloween was determined to be an appropriate date for release. Headphones are recommended.
